It is the aim of SPUNC to work towards better solutions for independentpublishers in the areas of:

In September of 2008 SPUNC appointed a General Manager, John Hunter, and a Marketing and Publicity Manager, Zoe Dattner. This was made possible with the generous support of CAL and the Australia Council respectively. With these recent appointments SPUNC is able to now move forward on realising many of its initial objectives. For those of you who have become members in the past 12 months we are grateful for your patience and are looking forward to the new developments that await SPUNC and its members.

Following the conference an Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held to elect a Committee of Management which represents the nationwide interests of SPUNC.

SPUNC is managed by the board, and currently employs two people. The board, which was nominated and voted in at the AGM in July 2008, is made up of the following people:
